In 1973, William R. Gaiser, Encon, Inc.'s Founder, built the prototype injection mold and became the first to successfully mold PET preforms for the two-stage, bottle-making process-injection molding a preform which is then stretch blow molded to form a container. With his innovation, Mr. Gaiser dramatically changed an industry!

More than 28 years have passed since Encon, Inc. made the first PET preforms. Encon has been instrumental in the development of a wide variety of consumer packages. Encon's production facility operates 24 X 7, year round, with immediate access to a full mold maintenance and assembly department, a research and development lab with engineering expertise in custom preform design and manufacturing.
